She is currently a Penn Hills School Director. In her first two years as a director, she was trying to learn the inner workings of the educational system in Penn Hills, navigate the political climate, while looking for ways to protect senior citizens and others from continual tax increases.

There have been some academic and financial improvements in the Penn Hills schools, however, due to Covid and other issues such as school safety, improvement of academics, and surviving without Esser funds, we have more work to do and changes to make. Jackie would like to be part of that change.
